We are seeking an accomplished and visionary leader to join our global business development team as the Senior Business Development Manager. In this strategic and senior role, you will be responsible for leading key geographies and business segments, driving demand generation and qualification of new opportunities, and exceeding team quotas. You will work closely with Sales and marketing management to develop and execute well-targeted strategies and lead nurturing plans, as well as drive pipeline generation to achieve the company’s growth goals. This role is for someone looking to create an impact by way of using a problem-solving and data-driven approach to build and scale a high-performing sales team. You’ll work closely with our leadership team and will be responsible for ensuring Magicminds penetration in the Global startup and enterprise ecosystem.
The position will report to the CEO and will be responsible for managing and building a team of about 20-30 people.
Responsibility:
- Develop and implement innovative strategies and lead nurturing plans to drive business growth throughout the year.
- Designing and implementing sales strategy and plan for net new business acquisition by prospecting, converting, and onboarding new customers.
- Collaborate with Sales and marketing management to develop and grow the opportunity pipeline in target regions worldwide.
- Ensure that the company achieves its ambitious growth targets by driving qualified lead generation for all Sales Regions.
- Work closely with Marketing and sales teams to develop and execute effective prospecting and communication strategies, including call pitches, social media outreach, and other Sales 2.0 technologies.
- Utilize best-in-class tools and technologies to continuously improve business development productivity and performance.
- Recruit, train, coach, develop, and motivate a high-performing team of Business Development Executives/Inside Sales Representatives.
- Assist in building a high-performing sales process, conduct analytics, and develop strategies to drive growth in new regions.
- Manage data for new and prospective clients in CRM, ensuring accuracy, logging of all communications, and attachment of necessary documents.
· Effective report on the team and individual performance, metrics, and KPI.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in driving high-performance business development teams in leading enterprise SaaS (Software as a Service) companies.
- Creative problem solver with an ability to thrive in a competitive, and dynamic business environment.
- Strong understanding of business practices and industry trends, with a strategic mindset.
- Proficient in utilizing Sales 2.0 technologies, such as ABM tools (6Sense, DemandBase, Bombora) Outreach, SalesLoft, CRM, Database tools like Lusha, ZoomInfo, Apollo, Seamless, and other relevant tools, to drive prospecting, communication, and pipeline generation strategies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills having managed large teams.
- Proven track record of building and leading successful sales teams
- The high degree of ownership, perseverance, and a go-getter attitude
- Experience being adaptable while working in a high-growth, fast-paced, or start-up environment.
- Proven track record of building and leading successful sales teams
- Proven track record working with Software Solutions sales, IT recruitment, staffing, or SAAS industry focusing on the international market.
